No-Bake Peanut Butter Mummy Treats for Halloween

Super fun and easy to make no-bake Peanut Butter Mummies! They’re delicious, kid-approved, and a perfect Halloween treat.

Peanut Butter Mummy No Bake

Autumn is here and Halloween is the perfect time to bake — or, in this case, create no-bake treats with the kids. We love making costumes and decorating the house, but the highlight is always the treats. This year we chose a simple, playful idea: Peanut Butter Mummies. They combine familiar flavors with a festive look and are easy enough for children to help assemble.

This Peanut Butter Mummy is an ideal Halloween snack. Black and orange are classic Halloween colors, but the pale white of the mummy wrapping makes a fun contrast, and little candy eyes give each piece a quirky personality. We start with a peanut butter base cut into rectangles, coat them in melted white chocolate, and finish with a drizzle to create the mummy wrapping and two tiny chocolate-chip eyes. The result is cute, slightly spooky, and irresistibly tasty.

If you prefer, you can shape the mixture into pumpkins, bats, or other characters — the most important part is enjoying the process with your children. Decorating together is the fun part: let kids get creative with eyes, sprinkles, and drizzles. These mummies travel well to parties and are an easy homemade option to share with neighborhood kids on Halloween night.

  • Pinch of salt
  • For decoration:
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips, divided
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips for eyes

  2. Stir together peanut butter, melted butter, vanilla, and a pinch of salt until combined.
  3. Gradually add the powdered sugar and mix until a firm dough forms.
  4. Press the mixture into the prepared dish to a roughly ½-inch thick layer.
  5. Freeze until firm, about 20–30 minutes.
  6. Line a tray with parchment paper and set aside.
  7. Remove the peanut butter slab from the dish and use a sharp knife to cut into rectangles of your desired size.
  8. Place the rectangles on a wire rack set over a tray.
  9. Melt 1½ cups of the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 15-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
  10. Pour or spoon the melted white chocolate over each peanut butter rectangle to coat them evenly.
  11. Transfer the coated rectangles to the parchment-lined tray and refrigerate until the chocolate sets.
  12. Melt the remaining white chocolate chips, then transfer the melted chocolate to a small plastic bag and snip a tiny corner to create a piping bag.
  13. Drizzle the melted chocolate across each piece to create a mummy-wrapping effect.
  14. Press two mini chocolate chips into each piece as eyes before the drizzle fully sets.
  15. Store the mummies in the refrigerator, or freeze for longer storage.
