P&G Canada Celebrates 100 Years: Anniversary Highlights and Legacy

Just when I thought turning 40 sounded old, Procter & Gamble announced it is celebrating 100 years in Canada — a remarkable milestone.

P&G’s story in Canada began in 1915 when the company was incorporated and employed just 75 people. Today, P&G brands touch nearly 5 billion lives every day around the world. The people behind those brands work to ensure they deliver on their promise to make everyday life a little easier and better, now and for future generations.

Take a look at this colourful infographic to see how the company and its brands have evolved over the decades.

It’s fun to spot familiar brands on the timeline. Pampers launched just a few years before I was born, and many of my favourites appeared in the 1980s and 1990s. I was surprised to learn that Charmin and Oral-B haven’t been around for as long as they feel — they seem like staples on store shelves forever. Reflecting on P&G’s history is enjoyable, and I’m excited to see what innovations the company will introduce next.
