This summer I shared mango cocktails made with Sōmrus, and now I’m shifting into fall with spiced drinks to warm your evenings. We begin with a spiked salted caramel chai latte. Chai lattes are a comforting mix of spices you can enjoy year-round, but the addition of salted caramel brings an unmistakable autumn vibe.
Salted caramel evokes apples, warm cider, pie, crisp nights, and crunchy leaves—it’s a flavor that instantly feels like fall.

This cocktail starts with a base of black tea. The sweetness comes from Sōmrus Chai Cream Liqueur and a drizzle of salted caramel. I like to coat the inside rim of the glass with a little caramel before pouring in the tea, then finish with extra caramel on top.
Sōmrus Chai Cream Liqueur has warm notes of cinnamon, pepper, star anise, cloves, and cardamom. The rum-based cream liqueur is designed to feel cozy and rich.
Add steamed milk to turn it into a true latte—the froth holds extra caramel and adds a silky texture. You can make homemade salted caramel if you prefer, but store-bought salted caramel sauce works well and saves time.

Sōmrus Chai Cream Liqueur is often available at local liquor stores. Add a bottle to your home bar—the flavor is versatile and perfect for more cozy fall cocktails coming soon.
