If you love October treats, these Spooky Halloween S’mores are a perfect seasonal twist on the classic campfire favorite. They still have the crunchy graham crackers, melty chocolate, and gooey marshmallow texture we all adore, but Halloween Peeps bring a festive, fun look and flavor that kids and adults both enjoy.

The recipe uses only three main ingredients and is simple enough for the whole family to help make. You can toast Halloween Peeps over an open fire while camping, or make these indoors on a cool evening. They’re messy, sweet, and guaranteed to bring smiles at Halloween parties or casual get-togethers.
Why I Love These Halloween S’mores
- Made with just three main ingredients
- A playful Halloween twist on a classic campfire treat
- Great for parties, fall camping, or cozy nights at home
- Simple enough for kids to join in

I first tried Peeps S’mores around Easter and thought a Halloween version would be equally fun. I picked up some spooky Peeps at a local store and made them with the kids during a lazy Sunday fire. They loved them, so I’m sharing the simple steps so you can make them too — whether at home or on your next fall camping trip.
Ingredients Needed for Halloween S’mores

| 👻 Graham Crackers – the crunchy base that holds everything together.
👻 Halloween Peeps – choose pumpkins, ghosts, Frankenstein, or any spooky shapes you find. 👻 Chocolate – dark, milk, white, or even peanut butter cups for a twist. 👻 Roasting stick – a retractable or long stick works best for toasting over a fire. |
How to Make Halloween S’mores
Step 1: Roast Peeps. Toast your Halloween Peeps over the campfire, on a grill, or carefully over a gas stove until they reach your preferred level of gooeyness and golden color.
Step 2: Assemble. Place a piece of chocolate on a graham cracker square, add the toasted Peep, and top with a second graham cracker.

Step 3: Press & Melt. Gently press the crackers together so the warm Peep softens and melts the chocolate just enough.
Step 4: Enjoy. Serve them warm and sticky for the best experience.

Additions & Substitutions
- Swap dark chocolate for milk or white chocolate for a different flavor.
- Use flavored graham crackers, such as cinnamon, to add warmth and depth.
- If you don’t have a campfire, toast Peeps under the oven broiler for a few seconds or warm them briefly in the microwave (watch closely).
