Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups pecans
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon coconut sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or greased foil and set aside.
  • Toss pecans, cinnamon, and salt (if using) in a large bowl until evenly mixed.
  • Add maple syrup and coconut sugar. Stir and fold until the pecans are fully coated.
  • Spread pecans in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet, leaving small gaps for air to circulate.
  • Bake for 15 minutes. Use a heatproof spatula to flip the pecans, then bake an additional 6–12 minutes until crisp and caramelized (total around 24 minutes).
  • Place the baking sheet on a cooling rack and let the pecans cool completely (about 30 minutes) so the coating hardens. Store in an airtight container.
